Prayer Guide

Sweet hour of prayer! Sweet hour of prayer! That calls me from a world of care, And bids me at my Father's throne Where God my Savior shows his face, And gladly take my station there, And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer! lyrics from the song “Sweet Hour of Prayer” Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. 1 Timothy 2:1 I urge…that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people. Ephesians 6:17, 18 Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (11-18) we are called to spiritual warfare...Fight the good fight! Pray in Faith Come in FAITH, believing. Jesus speaking to his disciples said in Matthew 21:21 Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be though removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. C.H. Spurgeon said. “Faith has no design to have its own will, when that will is not in accordance with the mind of God; for such a desire would at bottom be the impulse of an unbelief which did not rely upon God’s judgment as our best guide. Faith knows that God’s will is the highest good...” Here is a guide we can use when we pray.
